Episode #1 – My Health Journey
The Unskilled Cavewoman Podcast is on!
I’m so excited to finally be able to bring this resource to the table for y’all. I’ve been doing Instagram Stories for a couple of years now, and always wondered, “How can I keep all of this information that I share on IG (which only stays up for 24 hours then disappears) as a permanent resource?”
The answer was to start a podcast!
So I bought me a microphone, downloaded some groovy recording software and here we are. Let’s do this.
My goal is to share all of the information I come across as I trek along this wellness path with you. This wellness community as a whole, along with countless hours of researching ever-evolving new information are ways that I’ve come across ways to heal my body.
In my first episode, I dive deep into my health history, including some things that I’ve never shared before about myself and my life that I truly believe have contributed to my overall well-being
I wanted to be candid in sharing this with you, because I want you to know that you are not alone. Not everyone has a perfect past, and that’s perfectly OK. We were where we were meant to be then, and we are where we are meant to be now.
My Hashimoto’s, Hypogammaglobulinemia and suspected Celiac are a huge part of my life, and I believe a natural approach to reversing my diseases is what has gotten me this far. I still have a ways to go, but with this community I foresee a bright and healed future.
Thank you for joining me on this journey of mine. May this podcast help you to travel empowered along yours as well!

Thank you for sharing your story. You are the first person I know of -beside myself- that has Hashimoto’s and Hypogammaglobulinemia and Fibromyalgia. Our lives run parallel at many points, with my story being long and painful as well.
Although I’m being treated for Hashi’s and Hypogamma, I still struggle daily with the myriad secondary effects of the illnesses. Not to mention the emotional, psychological and spiritual consequences that result from the relentless fatigue and brain fog….
Please continue the podcasts- your experiences and determination to live a healthier life are encouraging.

Hi there Madlynn,
You are very welcome. I am inspired by your journey, as well as others who are trying to find answers. The connection between Hashi’s and Hypogamma is something I plan to keep digging in to as well!
I, too, struggle with those secondary effects daily. My hope is to spread the word about managing symptoms naturally (which in my experience has given me the most progress, and the most hope). Big, huge hugs to you. Keep going! <3 <3 <3
