Listen up, soup lover! If you’ve been mourning the loss of creamy potato soup because nightshades aren’t your friend, I’ve got a game-changing recipe that’s about to rock your world.

What is Celeriac?

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t that just celery in root form?” Hold your horses! While they’re cousins, celeriac is like celery’s sophisticated European relative who studied abroad and came back with a much more refined personality.

Trust me, it’s way milder than celery stalks, offering a subtle, earthy flavor that’ll make you wonder why you haven’t been cooking with it all along.

This Primal Creamy Celeriac Soup Can be Adapted to Suit Your Dietary Needs and Restrictions

What makes this soup a total knockout is its versatility. Whether you’re rocking the AIP lifestyle, going full animal-based, or keeping things paleo, this recipe’s got your back because I’ve added variations inside the recipe notes for you.

And for my cruciferous veggie fans out there, feel free to throw in some turnip or rutabaga for an extra flavor dimension – it’s like choosing your own culinary adventure!

This soup is creamy, comforting, and completely customizable:

Dairy-free? Got you covered with coconut milk instead of milk.

Allium-free? No problem. Just swap leeks for squash and nix the garlic.

Gluten-free? It already is, hun!

It’s like the Swiss Army knife of soups – ready to adapt to whatever dietary needs you throw at it.

The Perfect Soup for Meal Prepping

Let’s talk meal prep, because who doesn’t love a good freezer-friendly recipe?

As the temperatures drop and your motivation to cook plummets faster than autumn leaves, you’ll thank yourself for batch-cooking this creamy dream.

Pro tip: freeze it in cup-sized portions for those nights when cooking feels as appealing as a polar bear plunge.

Make This Primal Creamy Celeriac Soup This Week!

So next time you’re craving a bowl of warm, creamy comfort, give this celeriac soup a whirl.

Your taste buds – and your body – will thank you for thinking outside the potato!
